The Firm’s Founder and Principal is Paul C. Jorgensen.

Paul brings nearly four decades of legal practice and business experience to benefit each of his clients. Before founding and operating the Firm, Paul worked in two major Washington D.C. law firms and two corporate legal departments. In these, Paul acted as intellectual property and contract counsel, managing large, worldwide portfolios of trademarks, copyrights, domain names and trade secrets, and designing and managing profitable licensing programs. He has successfully secured and maintained many U.S. and international trademark, copyright and domain name registrations, and has created and negotiated hundreds of effective contracts and licenses.

Paul also provides pro bono legal services to community civic and arts groups, and was honored for his service to the District of Columbia with the Mayor’s Arts Award.

In addition to his legal practice, Paul is an entertaining and popular public speaker and writer, frequently instructing attorneys, financial professionals, entrepreneurs and others domestically and internationally on contracts, legal writing and intellectual property. He has provided presentations, written and illustrated books and remotely worked from offices that he established in Austria, Thailand, Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates.

Paul is a 1988 graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., and a 1985 graduate of Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.
